Physics of Subtle Worlds
-Spaces of the Spirit
Realm-

The reach of “physics” should extend
past the Physical Realm (and our particular physical universe within it). It
should involve all of nature; all that possesses exteriorities, arises with the
quadrants indicated by Integral Theory. I’m not just referring to the jurisdiction
of quantum events now linked to an information field and to the Zero Point Energy (ZPE) field. In the expanded
study of “Physis” or of all of nature exteriors –whether
physical, mental or causal- possess correspondingly decreasing degree of
objective, shared “spaces” for dualistic, experiential events to take place.
This is possible if we understand that “higher” (ontologically more inclusive)
realms may possess other kinds of “space” and matter or substance, for
instance, a “space” in which shared, objective events are not limited by
distance and duration. This realization would help us to stop the reductionist
view of considering every non- space-time event within ordinary physical space
merely as belonging to the realm of a non-material “Res Cognizans.” “Physis” would extend to other kinds of matter and
this understanding would invalidate considering “discarnate spirits” as purely
immaterial and, thus, logically incapable of interacting with physical matter. The
mind-body problem would become more complex and more intelligently discussed
and the possibility of being scientifically understood would open up. It would also
open our eyes to how our known physical universe may be dependent from and,
nevertheless, interactive with the Subtle (sometimes called “Astral”) and other
realms.
According to an abundance of physical
and mental mediumnistic reports like those of materializations, apparitions,
“ghost hunting” research, Instrumental Transcommunication and Out-of Body and
Near-Death experiences, there seems to be another kind of ‘space’ through which
discarnate entities can experience another kind of active and still, cognitive
and contingent life. These reports abound and are constantly increasing. Some
institutions disseminating them are the Spiritist Network, the Association for
Trans Communication, the Biography Channel, The Windbridge Institute and in
Victor E. Zammit’s publications and like the UFO Phenomenon -in all honesty-
they cannot just be summarily dismissed. Moreover, the implications of these
reports coincide with some teachings from the philosophies of Vedanta, Yoga and
Tantric Mahayana Buddhism and also with J.J. Poortman’s proposal called “Hylic Pluralism.” Without adopting an
exclusivist “either-or” logical approach to knowledge, dualist interactionism
and emanationism and other proposals for the mind-body quandary now seem
reconcilable. As sincere truth-seekers or, simply, as individuals concerned
with our fate, it behoove us to see if we can extend the reach of physics/physis
onto different kinds of “spaces” that might exist beyond normally understood
sensorial perceptions and even beyond most of the “quantum fields” of Zero
Point Energy.
Here I’ll use the term “Subtle Realm”
to refer to the next fundamentally different level of ontological reality of
which our Physical Realm (along with its many universes) may be a product or
derivation. This other realm has been frequently called the “Astral World” in modern Western
esoterism but this term has connotations that may be a bit confusing. Moreover,
I’ll also use the term “Subtle-Realm”
in order to coincide with a well-established idea from “Vedanta” informing us that there are three main “veils of the
Supreme Spirit” which we could also call “ontological realities.” This are: The
Causal-Seed Realm, the Subtle-Mental Realm and the Gross or Physical Realm. All of these are said to have many levels and are said to
correspond to the main environments of the three main “Shariras” or perishable sheaths/bodies of Atman (the veiled Supreme
Self or Spirit). They also display their respective “Koshas” or “masks” through which we experience a duality-based creation
which is ultimately “Real” in essence but an “illusion” in form.
I’m also using the terms “Physical,” “Subtle”
and “Causal” in order to work with the least explored elements in Ken Wilber’s
“Integral Theory”: the realms. Integral Theory not only is a wonderful attempt
to include under a unifying pattern all major theories, methods and discoveries
of humanity across all cultural stages of development. It also tries to be a
“theory of everything” by utilizing five main elements to describe, interpret
or analyze any experiential occasion or event.
While
Integral Theory (or, rather, theory theories or “Meta Theory”) is a major step to
reach beyond modern and post postmodern thinking and while it demonstrates some
genuinely fundamental organizational principles, there are some faults. Apparently,
in order to fit well within the ethos of the age and to flourish academically,
its proponents lack the boldness to delve into indispensable metaphysical
issues on the nature of reality. Moreover, at its current stage of development,
Integral Theory is indeed capable of providing us with an overall vision and
guidelines but lacks the power to be highly predictive. I think that, upon
embarking on an original exploration between physics and metaphysics in
relation to how the different “physis” of realms might interact, this Integral
Theory could become more useful to physics, society and culture in general.
Integral Theory proposes that all
things, events, ‘occasions’ (and, theoretically-speaking, even whole realms) are
“holons” or can be described as
“holons” (whole-parts). These
partially complete and partially incomplete metaphysical structural elements
describe the world and can be described by four main, irreducible aspects: The
“Quadrants.” These quadrants are
born from duality or from the partially complete and partially incomplete
aspects of complementary poles (most likely the metaphysical poles of
existence) which, if taken to be mutually dependent parts and wholes (thus
forming partially complete and partially incomplete, hierarchically organized “holons”) determine four basic “dimensions” of existence: That which is
Interior or Experiential, that which is Exterior or Objective, that which is
Singular or Individual and that which is Collective or Plural. These four “dimensions”
can be noticed and induced or deduced through the dialectics of complementary
polar opposites. However, they can also combine to generate four fundamental “expression
spaces” so to speak and these are: The Individual-Subjective
Quadrant, the Individual-Objective Quadrant,
the Collective-intersubjective-Cultural
Quadrant and the Collective-interobjective-Systems
Quadrant.
All realms
of existence (being duality-based contingent and relative) ontological levels
of the Kosmos should (being themselves holons) also express through the
quadrants. However, if we just focus upon the Interior-Exterior relation, we
could say that the subtler the realm is the less exteriors predominate or
express themselves and the more the realm is integrated with its
subjective-interior aspect. I would say that their causal processes and
conscious experiences differ in relation to this; that in the Causal or “seed”
Realm experience is dominated by Interiority; that in the Subtle or Mental
Realm, experience is equally dominated by Interiority and Exteriority whilst
Exterior Objects instantly conform to Interior projections and expectations
thus still causing various degrees of fascination with appearances. I’d also
say that in the Physical Realm Interiors are dominated by “space-time” delayed
Exterior projections. While consciousness recognizes itself as almost absolute
and One in all possible diversity in the Causal Realm, it is equally projected
onto exteriors in the Subtle Mental Realm and heavily exteriorly projected and
thus experientially dependent upon exteriors in the Physical Realm.
People across all stages of
development prior to the “Integral Vision” are said to prioritize one or more
quadrants but not all of them equally because they are not inclined to
understand that these forms of expression arise from a common pattern. They
also do not count with an “Integral Model” that demonstrates the unifying
common pattern. They accept and hold on to different kinds of reductionisms and
exclusivisms often taken as describing the whole. Even systems-based,
scientific “Emergentism” purporting to transcend reductionist science is
excessively focused upon a horizontal, egalitarian, postmodern ethos.
Nevertheless, trying to disclose experienced reality as it expresses in each “quadrant”
has allowed humanity to develop many kinds of methods that (as far as I know) for
the first time find a coherent representation within an integral model. Integral
Theory recognizes all the methods arising within each quadrant as equally
valid. For instance, Integral Theory recognizes introspection, meditation,
phenomenology and psychology as useful in the Individual-Subjective Quadrant;
analytical-experimental science and behaviorism as useful in the
Individual-Objective Quadrant; cultural anthropology, hermeneutics as useful in
the Collective-Subjective (or inter-subjective) Quadrant; and ecology, sociology,
systems theory as useful in the Collective-Objective (or inter-objective)
Quadrant.
Integral Theory also considers that
within each quadratic ‘space’, different “lines of development” take place and
that these “lines” in turn develop through more or less fluid but sufficiently
defined “stages.” Moreover, the theory posits that things and subjective
persons organize reflecting or experiencing various defined “states” and “types.”
Besides all these “five elements” there is a general acceptance that main
experiential ontological realms exist and that transcendent (but also inclusive
of it all) Non-Dual “Spirit” is the Source at once within and without. While
Ken Wilber’s epistemological approach to disclosing or acquiring knowledge incorporates
the teachings of modernity (like shared method and empirical verification) and
postmodernity (personal and hermeneutical interpretation and explanatory
construction) so as to include as epistemologically valid even mystical
experiences, little attention has been given either to parapsychological
research, survival research, what do paranormal events imply, or to an
exploration of Man’s and the Cosmic higher spiritual, experiential but contingent
constitution (i.e. the “bodies of Man” and “planes” or “realms” of existence).
In other words, due to a matter of culturally-acquired tastes, needs and fears,
the main proponents of Integral Theory have not integrally explored extremely
important aspects of human and cosmic existence. This “lack of an integral
embrace” contradicts Wilber’s suggestion that Non-Dual spirituality is not just
about detachment and transcendence but of “embracing” all of creation. While
the theory is difficult to establish in a world still fragmented by exclusivist
approaches and widely differing levels of understanding, the founder has also often
been criticized for being more willing to establish his findings than for being
willing to promote academic-level dialogue or to modify his thinking after
receiving cogent and logically valid criticism. He’s also been criticized for
lending himself to organizing an institutionally-supported, cultural movement
more than furthering constructive, dialectical approaches.
Integral Theory also contains many
other extremely valid integrative elements worth learning about but that, for
economy’s sake, I won’t detail here. For more information on Ken Wilber’s
“Integral Theory” you may look for his books which are often (due to their
uniqueness and comprehensive scope) mis-classified under “self-help”
“psychology” or “New Age”). A “classic” is his 1995 Sex, Ecology,
Spirituality: The Spirit of Evolution. You may also navigate to http://wilber.shambhala.com/html/books/kosmos/excerptA/intro.cfm in search of his “Excerpts,” navigate to http://www.integralinstitute.org/ or to http://integrallife.com/node/37539. Furthermore, for a range of criticisms to
this theory you may navigate to: http://www.integralworld.net/
Using Integral Theory, I’ll focus
upon the concept that –as holons- all realms possess Interior and Exterior
aspects. Like “holons” and organized systems from different levels in a
hierarchy (or, as Wilber would say, “holarchy” if the other word elicits a
memory of abusive social dominance relations) realms would -in their own unique
ways- contain and transcend each other. Higher realms can be imagined both as
outer circles containing lower realms and as being more interior and
fundamental than lower realms. The Causal or Seed Realm would be the first
realm in which Self and the illusion of non-Self (or of other-Self) is
distinguished and its Exterior, objective space would be under the dominance of
Interior, subjective experience and principles Causes would be spiritual. The
Subtle Realm would be a fluid realm in which the Exterior aspect would be
equally dominant as Interior experiences. Causes be mental and operate
according to Interior needs manifesting Exterior patterns in perfect
correlation. In the Physical Realm, Exterior aspects would predominate and
causes would be primarily transmitted externally. In Vedanta and other Indian
philosophies the first realm is understood as an expression of the Universal space
or space-generating substance “Akasha”
under the modality of “Chidhakasha.”
The second realm is understood as an expression of Akasha as “Chittakasha” and the third of Akasha as
“Bhuttakasha.” Thus, there’s more to
“Akasha” that only a pre-physical, information field as
emergentist-system-theoretical authors like Ervin Laszlo seem to concede
(Laszlo, ). There seem to be many other realms besides
the Physical and its formative, chaotic, zero-point fields.
To these concepts I supplement the
idea that (due to fundamental metaphysical gradations and distinctions
generating the realms in first place) these Interior and Exterior aspects are differentially
expressed across the realms, allowing for some kind of interaction
that has not been much explored before under a combined physical and
metaphysical outlook. I think that the more inclusive and fundamental a realm
is, the more its Exterior is enfolded in its Interior. What is (from a
contingent point of view) considered as “actual” existence and order is
differentially enfolded into subjectivity in each of the three main realms.
Furthermore, what is “actual” from a lower realm perspective (the degree of
exteriority) seems to be “potential” from a higher realm and what is “actual”
from a higher realm perspective (degree of Interior dominance) seems to be
“potential” from a lower realm.
There may be a sequence of Actual and
Potential worlds from a comparative or relative perspective and what scientists
nowadays are discovering as the “Quantum Foam” or “Zero-Point Chaotic Energy”
fluctuations may be how we from a specifically Actual Physical Realm system and
perspective perceive the Subtle Realm. The Quantum Potential referred to by
David Bohm and Yakir Aharonov (Bohm, )
would correspond to a programming subset in the Subtle Realm and the semi-organized
chaos of the Zero Point Energy would be how the potential for our physical
universe (or what from our physical perspective is a potential) interphases
with our actual world. In fact, in the ZPE chaos there some states are allowed
and some are not and this is given by the interaction between a defined,
actual, physical universe and its potential in a higher realm. Time-forward and
time-backwards influences may also coexist in the ZPE which may be like a fluid
whose vortices sustain stable particles and an interaction with
superluminally-connected virtual particles.
According to many of the reports about
“other world conditions” mentioned before, the Subtle Realm possesses exteriors
which immediately respond to subjective or “interior” initiative. These
exteriors instantly organize or, rather, display an instant organization that
correlates with Interior subjectivity. Let me add that the term “Subtle” also refers
to the degree of subtlety another kind of “matter” displays in the Subtle Realm’s
objective, exterior, shared relational aspect or “space.” In fact, there would
be gradations of correlation between interior and exterior aspects in each
realm: In the Causal or Seed Realm, Exteriors causally respond and are
subordinated to Interior spiritual causes (metaphysically speaking) prior to
instantaneity. In the Subtle Realm, Exteriors respond simultaneously to Interior
mental causes and have an equal degree of dominance between them. In the “Gross”
or Physical Realm, Exteriors respond with delay and through distance to Interior
causes more readily via exterior causes. Thus (in terms of experience
from the point of view of awareness or pure sentience), in the Causal Realm Interiority
predominates; in the Subtle Realm Interiority and Exteriority are co-equally
dominant and; in the Physical Realm, Exteriority predominates. Correspondingly,
each “realm” is primarily organized by the principles of Spirit, Mind and Body.
These ideas coincide with the Indian
idea that each realm is organized by a different kind of “Akasha” (thought to be a universal substance often translated as
“space” which makes me consider that it is an expression principle that
acquires the form of a particular ‘kind’ of space). While Ervin Laszlo (Laszlo,
2006), seems to consider “Akasha” a universal quantum information field, I
think it can indeed take that form but also the form of the three main ‘spaces’
of the three main realms plus varied combinations of these three main spaces.
In Indian mystical & esoteric
literature (like the Yoga Vasishtha associated with Vedanta)
“Bhuttakasha” refers to the
Universal Akasha taking the characteristics of “Gross” (Bhutta) Physical Space;
coordinating the particles it forms and sustains through exterior, gross causal
interactions. The Subtle Akasha forming a Subtle Realm Space is called “Chittakasha” and it provides sustenance
and a means for mental-responding particles to behave. What in the Physical Realm
behaves through a higher degree of separation through distance and time and the
distinction between “advanced” and “retarded” causally influential time waves now
behaves under the higher symmetry from which space and time themselves derive. Finally, in the Causal Realm, “Chiddhakasha” forms an almost void
space whose extremely subtle sub-components allegedly respond to spiritual
principles and causes as expressions of the Universal Self when that Self
acquires a sense of distinction. I think we should consider that these things
may have been ‘scientifically’ explored and discovered by yogis and seers, as
Ken Wilber might say (Wilber, ), by
following shared empirical procedures, injunctions or methods, having empirical
experiences and then corroborating-discarding-correlating their experiential findings
in hermeneutical fashion.
“Information” (in-formation, that
which is interior and forms the exterior) is thought to always be accompanied
by energy-matter by some kind of publicly visible and objective “exteriority.”
My friend engineer Juan Leal would say: “like a wagon carrying and transporting
an information load.” In the physical world at the level of ordinary, classical
experience, this transportation takes time as it has to cross a distance. I
would say that “duration” and “distance” are programmed into the physical
“Akashic Space” as the way that space must respond to Interiority: Through the
outward projection of the meaning that Interiority can use under the form of Exterior
fragments of information. Nevertheless, in the “Subtle-Mental Realm” whose Exteriors
actually respond to Interior, subjective experience without a ‘time’ lapse and without
the experience of separation by ‘distance’ (unless Interiorities require
exteriors to appear like this), the means to express information (the means of
distinction) must be different. Would a modern-day Descartes call the exteriors
of the Subtle Realm a “Res Extensa”
or should we instead be speaking of a “Res
Continua”? The point is that, if the principles of Integral Theory are generally
valid in ANY realm in which duality operates and in which there are “holons”
(Wilber, 1995), there must be some kind of exterior “space” for correlates of
subjective experience to manifest.
Apparently, the so called “world of
spirits” also possesses another kind of “substance” and other rules by which
“objects” behave in a different “space.” Scientists need to find out how this other
kind of “exterior” functions not only move beyond crass, reductionist
materialism but also beyond the (still materialist) “Emergentism” whose apparent
self-sufficient, self-organizing is considered to reach all the way to the quantum,
ZPE, “vacuum energy” field. Neither seems to answer why the ZPE (not an
absolute chaos) is and the laws of the physical universe are organized the way
they are, why Planck’s constant has the value it has, why quantum uncertainty
has the values it does, why the rate of time flow is what it is in relation to
the speed of light, etc. We need to
think that, in this realm of “discarnate” spirits (of spirits possessing
another kind of materiality), there still is another form of materiality so
that objects and substance seem to causally respond to Interior, mental and
volitional conscious and subconscious causes. In other words, the experience of
a volitional soul (which I define as a completely immaterial Spirit expressing
through Causal, subtle and-or Physical substance) in this realm can be much
more flexible and fluid as exterior effort is not needed to sustain an external
order. I think that scientific means to explore the realms of non-physical
spaces can be developed and that physical theories will eventually reach beyond
the current considered “information” and ZPE
fields. A more profuse gradient of “fields” may be possible beside the
physical fields and their potentials fields.
In the “other reality” of the Subtle
Realm, there may not exist distinct, discreet, “quanta” representing energy
units as in the quantum level of the Physical Realm inter-phasing with the
macro, physical world of our ordinary, time-forward, entropic and subluminal
experience. This is because the calibration of “quanta” seems to depend on functioning
with a specifically-regulated sub-structure of physical space. Unobserved
quanta (even if known to be probabilistic and dynamically entangled and
complementary until macro detected) may exist in a realm of mental
possibilities limited to a relation with our specific physical universe. To be
“discreet” they still require functioning within an associated medium that “classically”
(within space and time) separates and distinguishes objects. But how can
action-carrying/efficient cause-carrying information exist in a Subtle-mental medium
that doesn’t causally require separation by space and time, thus creating
energy differences and gradients? How is in-formation active in a medium which,
apparently, “instantly” responds (outside of the ordinary constraints of time
and space) according to experiential need?
Quanta as we know them are the
smallest units of information-conveying energy “units” or “packets.” They make
things happen and (as Arthur M. Young, author of The Reflexive Universe)
would have probably agreed) can be called “quanta of action.” The energy
difference between the energy packets or units, that is, the relations among
them is understood as “information” in the Physical Realm. It’s mostly
understood as a relational situation through exterior means. The quanta range
of activities is defined by important (apparently fixed) parameters like
“Planck’s Constant.” Nevertheless, as modern physicists (like V. Vedral, D. Fiscaletti,
A. Sorli, E. Laszlo, C. Swanson, B. Haisch, H. Puthoff, M. Wolff, and many
others) are beginning to realize, these fundamental characteristics may depend
upon a deeper level of reality related to an informational level associated
with the Zero-Point-Energy (ZPE) field. Here, as physicist and astronaut Edgar
Mitchell PhD might say, information patterns are formed by standing wave,
holographic structures that can be coded, decoded (in an instant and perhaps permanently
way) by living and non-living physical entities with different degrees of
psychical freedom (Mitchell, ). This
is the energy source dependent on probabilities as implied by a specific degree
of information uncertainty applicable to our quantum universe: The Heinsenberg
Uncertainty Principle. In other words, this “substrate” now believed to
generate the main characteristics of our physical Universe seems to exist due
to INFORMATION and probability. This energy source is potential inasmuch as it
depends upon how much structuring information can be transmitted. Also, the
“quantum level” seems to exist in a regulated manner between the concretely
physical (with defined spatial characteristics like “position” and defined
temporal characteristics like “momentum”) and the purely potential mental or
Subtle (or Subtle-Mental) matrix.
According to Vedanta and other
“emanationist” philosophies, the Subtle-Mental Realm, the “Matrix” of the
Physical, would be closer to an Absolute Reality in which interior subjective
consciousness is not restricted by the appearance of “exterior forms.” According
to Vedanta, our physical world in which objects travel distances and take time
to interact is more illusory and farther from the Non-Dual world of no distance
and no duration…the world of ordinary discarnate spirits. Then again, this
world would be farther from the Non-Dual than the Causal Realm of “seed ideas”
and “first principles.” Buddhists seem to broadly concur on this broad scheme
and also do the contemplative and esoteric traditions in the West and I think
that (because discoveries are gradually but inexorably rendering “physics” more
ethereal, mental and spiritual) these insights (probably born from sensorial,
experimental explorations through astral bodies and clairvoyance) need to be
taken into account to propose new scientific hypotheses. Already the existence
of physical universes with very different characteristics is being proposed as
belonging to a hypothetical “Multiverse.”
What other kind of “Res Extensa” can
be conceived? How else can we conceive the concept of “dimension” (unlike that
of another “direction” as in the three dimensional space we know) more suitable
to the information we have about the Subtle-Mental Realm? Definitely the idea
that the entire Subtle Mental realm is the “fourth dimension (of space)” is too
primitive. Then again, that it is Time because in Einstein’s terms the fourth
dimension is Time and combines with the three dimensions of Space doesn’t agree
with the timeless quality of Subtle-mental Realm experiences. What would still
be valid is the idea that more dimensions, either “spatial” (as we normally
understand this term) or not, provide greater degrees of freedom. In the
physical sense it is freedom of movement, of “topological” symmetry. This is
why in “M-Theory” a form of “Superstring Theory” (which posits 10 “SPATIAL”
dimensions and one dimension of Time, strings (and now also membranes which can
be as large as entire universes) have greater rotational freedom. The problem
is that these dimensions are spatial in the sense we are accustomed to think of
“space” and may not exactly apply to what is going on in the discarnate,
spiritual world.
Another kind of “space,” not unlike
the Akasha of the Subtle realm (now called “Chittakasha”) has to be conceived:
Perhaps “space” as an extension through timeless and distance-less correlation,
a “space” that correlates with equal intensity its Exterior objects and the Interior
subjectivity of consciousnesses experiencing it. Let me explain. While Physical
Space distinguishes Exterior manifestations from the Interior ones, giving priority
to the Exterior ones so that any modification of space objects (which left by
itself tends to disorganization) requires investing in anti-entropic work.
Subject and objects correlate from the first volition but there’s a delay to
build up all representative structures and this delay demands organizing work.
Then again, the work required to express correlated structures in the
Subtle-Mental “Space” would not follow a priority of the Exterior over the
Interior: The Exterior space and objects would be co-equal with the Interior,
Subjective cause. This is why the experience of Time as duration and Space as
distance and direction collapse or are not necessary. In the case of the Causal
Realm, the priority in the correlation would go to the Interior cause,
completing its experiences prior to the complete formation of Exterior correlates.
That higher realms are closer to
Reality makes possible a progressive emanation in which the higher contains the
lower. In other words, Causal contains and produces Subtle and Subtle contains
and produces Physical. Moreover, if there are differences between Interior and
Exteriors across the realms, interaction should also be possible. Thus, both
emanationism and interactionism should be possible and the latter goes well
with the scientific approach looking for exchanges.
The Subtle-mental “space” we are
trying to understand would have a greater degree of freedom than the
intermediate quantum world capable of entangling in a mirror-like way dynamical
properties between particles. It would have a greater degree of freedom than the
quantum world of wave-particle complementarity and of semi-real characteristics
called “potential” by Werner Heisenberg. This would be because the quantum
particle world is subordinated to its probabilistic and also deterministic
relation with how events are observed from an ordinary, classical, macroscopic,
physical perspective of conventional space-time. In other words, there are
patterns that hold back the freedom of the quantum world so that it behaves at
least in a semi-physical way. There might even exist different physical
universes as part of the same Physical Realm, obeying the Akashic pattern of
external causes under the constraints of distance and duration. Nevertheless
these universes might be “programmed” under different combinations of fundamental
constants, including the all-important “Planck’s Constant” which regulates
probabilities of the quanta or minimum energy packets. The space-time
characteristics of these other physical universes would also be differently
regulated but they should not be confused for the Subtle-Mental Realm. It’s
astounding to think that a potentially infinite number of physical universes
the Physical Realm might include would arise from an infinitely vaster
Subtle-Mental Realm of meaning, concept and possibilities.
The spectrum of possibilities would
be given by the Subtle-Mental Realm “Matrix” because (in spite of
complementarity) in the quantum world extended and continuous waves seem to
predominate over the particulate aspect and they do it both if we consider them
as “information waves” or as waves representing something “physically real and
relativistically invariant.” In the latter case (for instance demonstrated in
the Klein-Gordon Equation) there is
a partially successful attempt to join classical relativity with non-classical
quantum mechanics and, interestingly, a time-forward as well as a
time-backwards solution to this equation appears. Thus, according to this, in
the quantum level there would be a time forward and a time backward causality
and I’d say that, if they cancel out, we might return to the original
Subtle-mental Realm Matrix from which the physical universe began from an
asymmetry. If time forward and time backwards waves were to cancel out of phase
with each other we would experience null physical time and null physical space.
Moreover, there are experiments under way performed by cancelling regular
electromagnetic waves by conflicting them out of phase with each other so as to
obtain directionless, scalar waves. They are being performed by Dr. Koontz (http://www.doctorkoontz.com/) and probably by secret laboratories
researching time-space manipulation.
I would say that a better description
of “Time” is as the numerical order of change in space (as proposed by Davide
Fiscaletti and Amrit Sorli). To this proposal I add that Subtle Realm ‘space’
may obey an internal program or order which represents exterior events in
perfect duration-less and distance-less manner while still correlated to
Interior-Subjective experience. Perhaps upon obtaining null space and null
time, the three experiential directions of space and the physical time duration
necessary to transmit causes producing effects in ordinary, classical (not
quantum, nor sub-quantum) space have been re-absorbed into a lesser degree of
ontological duality or into the more equally dominant, Interior-Subjective
aspect of the Subtle Realm.
The preponderance of waves in quantum
physics may have been revealed by Shariar Afshar’s experiments which seem to
suggest that it is possible under a meticulously designed experimental layout
to observe wave and particle characteristics simultaneously even when preparing
the equipment to primarily observe particles while particle characteristics are
not detected when preparing the equipment to primarily observe waves. If Afshar’s experiments are valid and well
interpreted http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Afshar_experiment they might also bring a new spin on
Bohr’s “Principle of Complementarity” which states that an unobserved quantum
state process possesses both (classical logic contradictory) particle and wave
characteristics but that, upon measurement (from a macro perspective), either
characteristic is explicated but not both simultaneously. This principle also
applies to the complementarity of “position” (a space-like characteristic) and
“momentum” (a time-like characteristic). If Afshar’s observations are valid
this may show that Bohr’s principle is valid under most observations but that
it doesn’t strictly apply under all circumstances because –hierarchically
speaking- particles may sub-sets from more fundamental wave states. Perhaps Afshar’s experimental contraption –enabling
him to make one measurement after another- is able to observe into the limits
that separate quantum and macro classical behavior.
I think that Quantum Theory (or
theories) could move forward if we understood why waves can take so many aspects in different (sometimes
competing) theories. Is it just because their mathematical qualities render
them applicable to many (not necessarily compatible) theoretical constructions?
For instance, why can probable solutions to the evolution of quantum
information waves be considered as probable actual universes (like in Hugh
Everett’s “Many Worlds Interpretation”). Can de Broglie waves be both
information and real if understood as belonging to a deeper level of physical
reality, perhaps at the boundary of another level displaying null space and
null time? Why can quantum waves be divided into “advanced” (or retro-causal)
complementing and “retarded” (or time-forward) waves “agreeing” or “hand
shaking” with each other as explained by John C. Cramer relativistically
invariant “Transactional Interpretation?” Why wouldn’t these understandings complement
the idea of “waves” as also present in a subquantum level, as Paul A.
LaViolette’s “Subquantum Kinetics” shows (LaViolette, 2008)? Why wouldn’t we be
able to think of waves as possibly taking a “scalar” form necessary to
complement regular EM waves as proposed by Thomas E. Bearden’s understanding of
higher topology Quantum Electrodynamics (Bearden, 2002)?
What about Edgar Mitchell’s proposal
for “standing waves” creating virtual holographic representations of physical
living and non-living systems which (through phase conjugate coding and
decoding mechanisms) can self-organize, evolve and communicate with each other
in a “holographic universe”? What about waves in Erwin Laszlo’s permanent “information
field”? What about Nikola Tesla’s alleged proposal that EM waves can also be
“longitudinal” and not just “transversal” and Claude Swanson’s recognition of two
kinds of instantly-connecting “Torsion Waves” (one capable of speeding up time
and the other of slowing it down) existing at a pre-quantum level of reality (with
‘particles’ called “phitons”) capable of distantly coordinating apparently
random physical processes (Swanson,
). What about Milo Wolff’s
proposal that all matter is a wave structure in “space,” a quantum wave medium
(Wolff, )? What about Emeritus William A. Tiller’s
proposal about a superluminal, “Reciprocal” physical Space (at least containing
a magnetoelectric substance) which can be brought into greater conjunction with
ordinary, subluminal, “Direct” physical Space (at least containing
electromagnetic substance) by hypothetical particles he calls “Deltrons”
existing in a higher realm?
Can “waves” (which are normally
understood as extended entities) behave as self-contained, particle-like and
“standing” in a scalar field, thus serving as intermediate elements between
space and time-based physical reality and the higher symmetrical Subtle realm
from which space and time diverge? Can
Bohm and Hiley’s “Quantum Potential” or “Information Potential” refer to waves
in a deeper medium of reality precursor to ordinary space and time? Could this
precursor be a time or a frequency domain and contain the predominantly
negentropic influence allowed in quantum physics while the entropic one is
primarily expressed in a space suited for macro scale objects ? Can the fusion
(or mutual cancellation) of regular macro entropic space with the complementary
“space” with its hidden “precursor” to ordinary space form a sub-set or a
holon-like “part” of the Subtle Realm? Is this “crackpot” science or should rather
say that closed-mindedness cannot be ‘cracked’?
After considering (from IntegraI Theory
that all systems are parts and wholes (which are parts of more inclusive
wholes), I would say that the realistic and probabilistic wave aspect that
describes quantum systems is: 1) Representative of the “Whole” or seamless
totality aspect of the Physical Realm and 2) This “whole aspect” doesn’t just
complement the classical physical separate Parts aspect but is itself a part of
the Subtle-Mental Realm.
Also, the sub-realm of classical
physics would be the ‘parts’ aspect of the Physical realm. The latter sub-realm
would be a space in which the higher symmetry internal between time-forward
“retarded waves” and the time-backward “advanced waves” is broken so as to have
a subluminal physical space in which -on the whole- entropy predominates in
close systems. If quantum waves represent a part of the Subtle Realm matrix and
also instantaneity within a controlled way to relate with this contiguous
matrix, what does this tell us about the “spatial characteristics” of the
Subtle Realm? We could consider that the quantum wave is a part of the
Subtle-Mental matrix as it is a totality or whole of the physical particles
defined by ordinary space-time. This regulation of Schrödinger’s wave is what
we call “Quantum Potential” and may represent a sub space that interconnects
the ordinary macro physical with the Subtle-Mental.
The
Physical Realm is included in the Subtle Mental Realm but, since there are
differences in how each realm’s Interior and Exterior aspects manifest, we can also
speak of other forms of interaction between the realms, both in an
involutionary downward causation mode and in an evolutionary, upward causation
mode.
Space seems
to be one substance that takes different characteristics. Physicists Sorli and Fiscaletti
suggest that space has no unique Time dimension but that what we call “Time” is
a mathematical order of change in space. This order of change would be an internal
characteristic of space itself and another way of conceiving Einstein’s “fourth
dimension.” I think that this being the case, the spaces of different physical
universes can possess different mathematical ordering of change and I think
that the ordering stems from the Subtle-Mental Realm that would have a semiotic,
regulatory relation with its physical universes. It would be like a semantic
specification of syntactic elements like physical parameters. But, what
processes may explain how programming the rate of change of a particular
physical universe may take place?
If ordinary
physical beings use the entropic potential available in their regular physical
environments to create useful order while exporting heat and disorder (and
performing work in the transition phase), ghostly entities appear to produce
momentary physically colder environments (equivalent to a less kinetic and less
informative region) generating a more potential, ordinary physical state. Perhaps
the potential state is converted into an actively useful form that can be
manipulated by the Subtle-astral entity. Perhaps the energy patterns are
transduced into a shared or intermediate Subtle-Physical “space” through the
negentropic waves accompanying ordinary space. These waves are expected to
exist in the vacuum potential and are recognized in the
relativistically-invariant Klein-Gordon Equation. They are also expected to
exist in some 03 symmetrical interpretations of Quantum
Electrodynamics (Bearden, ).
According
to Claude Swanson, PhD, (Swanson, ) there
may be subquantum particles (he calls “phitons”) which generate time-forward (retarded)
and time-backward (advanced) torsion in space and can be understood as
instantly connecting across space when they match with each other. Taking an
idea from Ernst Mach, distant matter energy patterns (Uranoids) can match with each other. This matching generates
holographic-style all “real” 4D objects of our physical universe. If the
connection between the advanced and the retarded phiton patterns is more diffuse or less restrictive, greater
degrees of movement are allowed in the resulting holographically-projected 4D physical
objects, allowing them to become more interactive with non-physical, higher
dimensions of being (astral, mental, causal, budhic). According to William
Tiller PhD, (Tiller, ) when
Subtle or Astral level “Deltron” particles
raise the symmetry between ordinary, direct, entropic physical space (D-Space)
and complementary, reciprocal, negentropic physical space (R-Space), physical
space in general can be MENTALLY programmed to operate under Subtle Realm
parameters. Both authors refer to these events as “raising the gauge.” I think
that these versions of “raising the gauge” can be understood as a single,
unified event if D and R spaces and time-forward and time backward phitons are understood
as capable of interacting more and by doing so they cancel each other out of
phase and generate a return to Subtle Realm “space” or substance from which
they originate. In other words, the physical reality we know is a product of a
broken symmetry that splits from the “time cero” (and distance cero) of
Subtle-astral-mental substance (Chittakasha). Here greater connection is
broader connection and the broader connection (the more diffuse and greater
degrees of freedom) is a return to the Subtle Astral state. I would also say
that this return to the Subtle-astral state is still pattern connected with the
previous physical state in which the “gauge” had not been raised.
The “Virtual” in-between Body
All
relations and communications in the Cosmos seem to be mediated. If a discarnate
entity lives in a mind-responding medium (sometimes called the “Astral World”),
a medium whose exteriors obey subjective causes rather than predominantly
exterior, objective ones as in the “Physical World,” how can he or she generate
movement, chills, sounds, aromas, lights, opacity (as evidenced during
innumerable modern “ghost hunts” aided or not by electronic means) in the
physical world and to our physical senses? I posit that the astral entity is
capable of producing a temporary link or
in-between vehicle to interact with physical matter even if (as expected in
theosophical esoteric lore) he or she has discarded the so-called “etheric”
body that allegedly linked his astral vehicle with his previous physical body.
For entities emotionally attached to the physical realm) there may be an
automatic, will-based mechanism, the automatic formation of a pseudo connector
that can be temporarily strengthened and which, after a “bout” of creating
physical effects becomes weakened or “discharged.” This temporary “link” may be
a blend of energies from a complementary physical space and be possibly related
to a well-chosen integration of the concepts of Basil Hiley’s “information
potential,” T.E. Bearden’s “scalar fields,” W.A. Tiller’s “R-Space,” D. Larson’s
“reciprocal reality” (now referred by D. Wilcock et al. as “Time-space”), N. Teslas’
“longitudinal waves,” J.C. Maxwell’s original and pre-simplified equations, P.
La Violette’s “subquantum kinetics,” C. Swanson’s subquantum “phitons,” and
Kozyrev’s “torsion fields.” I think that all of these theories touch upon different levels and aspects of what may be
broadly included under the generic “zero-Point” quantum fields. The term “etheric” referring to the ‘substance’
that may incorporate all of the concepts previously mentioned may also be
retained without necessarily falling into the classical “luminiferous ether”
concept. In other words, physical matter that may be associated with other
mathematically plausible (and often necessary) “fields” and with “quantum
waves” may also behave as any one or more of the above mentioned concepts
capable of relating (non-orthodoxly) to the ordinary matter of “real” fields
and forces.
Each one of
the above-listed theories may be touching upon an aspect or form possible
through the quantum world and Non-Locality
may be how observations from the perspective of our ordinary physical perspective
relate with the complementary “etheric” aspects. Furthermore, even retrocausal
“waves” which (besides information possibilities to be actualized when
–following Cramer’s “Transactional Analysis” agree with past events in the
experiential present) can also be considered as “physically real” influences and
which are expected in some relativistically invariant solutions to Schrodinger’s
wave equations (also as a complementary alternative to the Copenhagen and
probabilistic Interpretation) may also be compatible with these non-orthodox
“fields” because, according to quantum mechanics, time-backward events and
negentropic events are as possible (and probably necessary) as the time
forward, entropic way we ordinarily perceive the world.
Inasmuch as
the pseudo-etheric body is a temporarily sustained conglomerate of active
possibilities that respond to the subjectivity of the discarnate “astral”
entity; a temporary blend of “Subtle-Astral,” pre-physical but physically
complementary (and physically influential) Substance and “actual” (or
perceived) Physical Substance from ordinary Space-Time, we can call it “virtual.” It is a pseudo state, a
temporary arrangement formed from the natural interaction of these three
mediums for intelligent energy communication. It may also be (when condensed in
extreme) what has been called “Ectoplasm”
which genuine physical mediums (like David
Thompson) can produce/exude and which even in the absence of a physical
medium a ghost may condense through its own subjective powers in order to
achieve some degree of opacity to visible light and other forms of EM energy,
rendering him or her visible to the senses and-or to (film-based and digital)
photographic/video equipment.
Apparently,
ghostly entities can obtain “energy” (meaning physically active) from the
environment, from electric sources like batteries, from certain natural spots
(perhaps regularly producing certain natural EM frequencies) and –other than
from mediums- also from regular people. What is the mechanism? What is going
on?
In Search of a Mechanism
According
to innumerable ghost hunting research reports, quite often, the ambient
temperature physically drops before a manifestation and this gives us clue of
what may be going on. If we take this
phenomenon as a guide, we may scientifically say that the ENTROPY of the physical substance where the temperature drops has diminished
since the molecules (air molecules and even biological molecules in our
physical bodies) must have become less agitated. Also, what was more
kinetically active in ordinary physical substance becomes goes into a more potential
or passive state. Kinetically, what was more “actual” is induced into a more “potential”
state. Now, if the physical complementary “reciprocal space” or the “etheric
space” (as mentioned perhaps also related with “scalar fields,” “torsion
fields,” “longitudinal waves,” “phitons” and the like) is primarily by itself negentropic (that order increases with our perception of the
sequential progression of linear time) or
simply behaves negentropically from the perspective in relation to our ordinary,
time-forward, primarily entropic space, then it may invert and convert the
loss of useful kinetic energy into an energy state that is useful for the more
metaphysically encompassing and subjectively responding exterior aspects of the
Astral Realm. The “negentropic etheric”
may act as a TRANSDUCER serving the astral entity to coat itself with a blend
of energies from the Physical and the Subtle realms. This “transducer” may not
only be like a “virtual” etheric body connecting with the Subtle-astral world
but become relative stable and undergo a “charging phase” (in which physical
energies are not lost but their ordinary activity is sent to a potential state)
and a “discharging phase” (in which a physical manifestation in ordinary
space-time “reality” is achieved).
The
increase in potential energy states of ordinary physical reality are transduced
into an active or information-carrying Subtle-astral state now capable of
discharging an influence into ordinary physical reality. The decrease in
ordinary, outer physical entropy (a decrease in available information and
ordered states) also becomes an increase in available, kinetic energy for the
Subtle-astral substance. Importantly, there’s no energy loss and total energy
is conserved; it is more of a temporary re-arrangement of energy forms and
energy states between realms. The physics of this interaction may help to
dispel the unscientific psychological repulsion and popular mystifications
attempting against a comprehensive, rational understanding of many
“otherworldly” issues. Moreover, if transdimensional extraterrestrials are
indeed visiting our particular physical Earth realm perhaps, maybe some of the
mechanisms involved in discarnate entities/ghost manifestations also apply to
the technologies of these space-time influencing beings. In fact, they may find
ways to use not only with the “etheric counterpart” but to re-establish their
physical reality out of every possible coherent space-time system through the
Subtle-astral realm: Some of them may be able to cancel time forward and time
backward influences (the primarily entropic and primarily negentropic,
complementary, physical “spaces”) and reach “Time Zero” (and thus, “Space
Zero”) or the non-physical, Subtle-astral state from which all physical
universes may ultimately derive. Some “space-faring” civilizations might be
able to use the Subtle-astral more than others according to their degree of scientific
development.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Using
Integral Theory, I’ll focus upon the concept that –as holons- all realms
possess Interior and Exterior aspects. Like “holons” and organized systems from
different levels in a hierarchy (or, as Wilber would say, “holarchy” if the
other word elicits a memory of abusive social dominance relations) realms would
-in their own unique ways- contain and transcend each other. Higher realms can
be imagined both as outer circles containing lower realms and as being more
interior and fundamental than lower realms. The Causal or Seed Realm would be
the first realm in which Self and the illusion of non-Self (or of other-Self)
is distinguished and its Exterior, objective space would be under the dominance
of Interior, subjective experience and principles Causes would be spiritual.
The Subtle Realm would be a fluid realm in which the Exterior aspect would be
equally dominant as Interior experiences. Causes be mental and operate
according to Interior needs manifesting Exterior patterns in perfect
correlation. In the Physical Realm, Exterior aspects would predominate and
causes would be primarily transmitted externally. In Vedanta and other Indian
philosophies the first realm is understood as an expression of the Universal
space or space-generating substance “Akasha”
under the modality of “Chidhakasha.”
To these concepts I supplement the
idea that (due to fundamental metaphysical gradations and distinctions
generating the realms in first place) these Interior and Exterior aspects are differentially
expressed across the realms, allowing for some kind of interaction
that has not been much explored before under a combined physical and metaphysical
outlook. I think that the more inclusive and fundamental a realm is, the more
its Exterior is enfolded in its Interior. What is (from a contingent point of
view) considered as “actual” existence and order is differentially enfolded
into subjectivity in each of the three main realms. Furthermore, what is
“actual” from a lower realm perspective (the degree of exteriority) seems to be
“potential” from a higher realm and what is “actual” from a higher realm
perspective (degree of Interior dominance) seems to be “potential” from a lower
realm.
When
activity diminishes in the ordinary entropic physical world it is perhaps transferred
to the physically-near astral subset of the Subtle Realm. How may ghosts living
in another form in another realm with other causal laws manifest in the
physical world? Does it borrow energy and then release it? My current
hypothesis is that energy is conserved in each realm. I think that an available
state of activity is transferred, diminishing in the Physical Realm and
increasing in the other through a mutually compatible medium. In a way this
medium can be understood as a “transducer” and in another way as a “holographic
decoder.” The resulting “substance” is patterned both after Subtle-astral and exterior,
entropic, “ordinary,” physical, energetic characteristics. The connection may
occur through an increased degree of symmetry between complementary physical spaces
suggested by relativistically invariant treatments of Schrodinger’s quantum
wave equation. As Emeritus William A. Tiller points out, a reciprocal frequency
and more time-related “space” may exist (see Tiller’s Model). The idea of this
“reciprocal space” roughly coincides with other alternative models. For
instance theirs is one in which time-forward and time-backward subquantum
“phitons” can instantly or non-locally meet coinciding when we experience something
in connection with our particularly cohering physical universe. Physicist
Claude Swanson posits this idea partially based upon the “torsion” (and time
distortion) experiments of Kozyrev and other Russian scientists. Another
related model amicable to a “Reciprocal Space” might be Dewey Larson’s idea
that the three dimensions of space might have three reciprocal dimensions of
time. Furthermore, Paul La Violette’s “Subquantum Kinetics” deals with the
possibility of an etheric substance whose vortices may produce entropic and
negentropic physical effects. If actual, could these vortices be related with
how more or less symmetrical and interactive the reciprocal space becomes with
ordinary entropic dominant space? While this seems compatible with Tesla’s idea
about a set of longitudinal waves in an underlying etheric medium it might not
seem compatible with Thomas Bearden’s support of the idea that there is not
such a thing as the need for an “ether” because there is no such things as an “empty
space.” If we think of the “ether” as activity subjacent to the vacuum of the
ordinary space we experience we may find that all of these models disclose
aspects of what may lie “underneath” so to speak.
We need to
update our concepts which were on the right track anyhow. The “ether” was a
concept that existed at least since the ancient Greeks who though it was
luminous and pure atmosphere which their gods breathed. In the XIX century it
was used to think of a medium that filled otherwise empty space in order to
carry light and during Maxwell-s time, electromagnetic waves. When this concept
arose to fill a void in physics, Madame Blavatsky and other esoteric mystics
brought from India a version of the Pranamaya Kosha or vehicle that transmitted
vital pranas to the physical body or Sthula Sharira. The main information
pattern in a more fundamental, life giving mental realm in which the Self is
clothed with its Manomaya Kosha (which remains after death as the discarnate
Subtle Realm body) is transmitted into the Gross, entropy based body through
what we can now understand not only as an etheric body but as a normally hidden
negentropic aspect. It was adequately understood as the vehicle that
transmitted formative patterns which came from a higher realm. This higher
realm used what in Vedanta and other Indian traditions is called the
Chittakasha or mind akasha, a version of the universal space and substance (or
rather, space creating substance) whose exteriors causally respond to interior
or subjective conscious or unconscious will. Today we just need to add to these
concepts findings from quantum physics and emerging alternative interpretations
such as William Tiller’s.
I think
there might be different levels of active substance behind the activity we are
beginning to observe in the “zero-point energy.” This activity is normally
called “virtual” and “potential” because we don’t normally perceive it. In
fact, we may experience its effects upon our ordinary world without directly
perceiving it and part of it may fall under what is allowed by quantum
mechanics and the wave function. For many years people have debated about the
meaning of the quantum wave function. For instance, is it probabilistic as Born
alleged? Does it represent something potential but real as a guiding influence
as David Bohm, Basil Hiley and Akira Tonomura showed? Does it “collapse” into spacetime-defined
reality when measurements are made with macro-scale objects and-or when these
are ultimately detected by consciousness (as Von Neumann demonstrated)? Are
unobserved quantum realities semi-real or semi-physical as Heinsenberg
suggested with his concept of “potentia”? Do non-observed probabilities allowed
in the wave function exist in parallel universes as Everett proposed? Well
(although recently evidence and arguments for there being something real when a
quantum system is not observed and for wave aspects perhaps being more
fundamental than the particle aspects are coming to the fore), besides
mathematical differences, why can’t all these main interpretations be
conceptually valid including those referring to retrocausal effects? I think
that an important key to bring these interpretations together may be thinking
that other realities besides the one we ordinarily experience do exist.
Reversibility
is possible in most equations of classical physics albeit it is not observed in
practice in our ordinary macro universe experience. Nonetheless, it becomes
possible again in quantum physics as time forward and time backward solutions
are allowed (as after the Klein Gordon Equation). Recent experiments by Seth
Lloyd and others have shown that entanglement can be observed when events
leading to a measurement are measured after that measurement. Delayed choice
experiments show this. That reversibility that should occur in macro, classical
conditions, that negentropy seems to hide in the world of quantum potentiality
and nonetheless remains necessary and subjacent to the production of ordinary
observed reality. What exists just seems not to and experientially speaking
becomes “probable,” “potential,” “semi-real,” “virtual.”
When a
ghost is about to manifest there may be a reduction of kinetic energy
(experienced as coldness) and through the hidden, “potential” negentropic
function of the physical reciprocal space (perhaps also understood as the
organizing, pattern-transmitting, etheric substance in theosophical and Vedanta
literature). Ghosts can use physical energy when regular entropic space and its
mirror-like negentropic space cancel out, returning to a Subtle Realm state. Here,
a fraction of what was physical becomes Subtle Realm-compatible while remaining
potentially connected with the ordinary physical realm space through the remaining
separated physical spaces. Without gain or loss of energy part of this energy
becomes available to the ghost as a transduced pattern operating in the Subtle
Realm. Thus, a temporary nexus between worlds forms. Now, since the prevailing
symmetry between the Ordinary and Reciprocal spaces is less intense the nexus
tends to lose its coherent states. Perhaps in other physical universes (such as
those in which some extraterrestrials may inhabit) there’s a greater capacity
to manifest subjective or Interior intentions and there’s less inertia and more
initia because a greater degree of symmetry between the two physical spaces
also manifesting a greater degree of negentropy may also mean that those
universes are in a closer interactive relation with the Subtle/astral
Realm.
First the
kinetic energy is turned into passive state (gets colder), we can say that the
molecules acquire more ordered states and that entropy decreases but this order
is less available for immediate use. The negentropic aspect of the reciprocal “quantum
hidden” physical space converts this potential state or lack of available
energy into an active form compatible with the Subtle-astral substance as the
ordinary physical space and the reciprocal one combine –in whatever degree-
more thoroughly and cancel each other out. If it were to completely combine,
the Physical Realm would revert to its original state as a program in the
Subtle –astral realm.
When the
discarnate entity wills to move something the exterior substance in the
Subtle-astral Realm responds and, while it may first initiate the greater
combination of ordinary and reciprocal physical spaces, it will also dispose of
an active energy pattern derived from the Physical Realm when the air and other
molecules become less agitated and cool down. In the case of batteries charge
disappearing their energy states may also enter a less actively available
pattern. When these more potentially available patterns are transduced by the
negentropic “etheric” aspect of the reciprocal space into a Subtle-astral
substance useful state, the ghost may return the original states to normalcy by
creating a physical effect and “discharging” the pattern momentarily withheld
in his Subtle-astral substance. If the discarnate entity doesn’t release the
transduced energy pattern by intentionally moving something, becoming opaque to
light, or perhaps generating a sound or a EVP recording, he or she may
naturally release the pattern by generating anomalous heat or local “hot spots”
in the “haunted” physical environment.
There’s
interaction between a Subtle world that can instantly manifest all
possibilities to a world in which possibilities are experienced with a linear
causal order. Since in microphysics, quantum mechanics (through “superposition”)
allows causal indefiniteness it also allows a connection between both
experiential realms. The linear time-forward macro world is accompanied in
quantum mechanics by a hidden (or micro) time-backward complementary aspect
that is part of the superposition. When it cancels out space time and
simultaneously inverts or transduces its potential energy patterns into
internal zero-time, zero-space Subtle-astral kinetic energy patterns an
imbalance is generated between the normal weaker interactive functioning
between the realms. This imbalance cannot be sustained for too long in linear
time-forward macro physical reality and is restored into normalcy either
spontaneously when the kinetic state of ordinary physical matter increases in a
localized volume of space time or when the entity moves an object or creates
another physically detectable effect.
This
interaction is mainly between two metaphysically different realms in which
their respective causal interactive exteriors express with fundamentally
different intensities in correlated relation with their interiors. While the
types of energies manifesting in each realm and the types of experiential
spaces are fundamentally different what remains in common is the more essential
relation between potentia and actuality used to exchange information through
energy states. In fact, borrowing from T.E. Bearden’s book “Energy From the
Vacuum” p. 658 what we call “energy” may be (my own words) the unchanging,
cohering, structuring relation between realms. Bearden also links it to the
“identity of opposites” which makes sense in a relational, dialectical logic of
complementary poles. In the case of the Subtle-astral realm, information is
embodied as a kind of energy not constrained by space or time. It obeys an equal balance between interiors
and exteriors. In the case of physical matter it is constrained by space and
time. Information follows a preponderance of exterior relations.
In relation
to another partially related phenomenon popularly dubbed “free energy” the
actual source of energy would be a coherent structural identity between
ordinary entropic spacetime and its reciprocal negentropic time-based
time-space. Considering the experiments of John Hutchinson, of Thomas Townsend
Brown and also the research of Dr. Robert Koontz, perhaps by cancelling out opposing
magnetic waves (and thus their ether-influencing curl) thus converting them
into time-based, longitudinal, scalar stress waves while connecting them with a
strong electric field capable (according to Paul La Violette) of space-time
curvature distorting dipolarity, the reciprocal space or “ether” can be
structured so as to produce gravity cancellation.
